In the first article, we explored the 7 night Eastern Caribbean itinerary... the perfect cruise for days at sea and shopping; >)
In this issue, let's take a look at the 7 night Western Caribbean itinerary... a very different Disney adventure!
Depart Saturday at 5 pm from Port Canaveral, FL
Sunday arrive at Key Westat 12 pm, depart at 10:15pm
Monday is a day at sea, with the whole ship to experience
Tuesday arrive at Grand Cayman at 7 am, depart at 5:30 pm
Wednesday arrive at Cozumel at 10am, depart at 11pm
Thursday is a magical day at sea
Friday arrive at Disney-owned Castaway Cay at 9 am, depart at 5 pm.
Saturday return to Port Canaveral at 7 am, depart the ship at 8:30 am
This cruise is for the "explorer" and sports enthusiast. With some of the best snorkeling in the Caribbean to be found at Grand Cayman and Cozumel and several golfing opportunities as well, excursions are varied and exciting. Indeed, one can even ride horseback through Mayan ruins in Cozumel. The ship stays at port long enough in Cozumel to allow for exploration inland into Mayan ruin sites. AND there's a stop in Key West, too, where the local color is both exotic and familar... a nice combination for adventuring, don't you think? Of course, the ship life continues to be Disney through and through with plenty of magical activities for young and old alike, the only difference is one less day at sea. For a pictoral review of the 7 night Western Caribbean sailing, click here: Pictoral Review
