Here we are, adventurous OLP always available to research for you; >), at Boatwrights Restaurant in the Port Orleans, Riverside Resort.

We began with a sample appetizer that included fried Mozzerella cheese, chicken wings, and baby ribs... the fried cheese won the applause all round!

And the little pot of towels was the PERFECT addition to the "saucy" samples; >)

Alan ordered the steak and was well pleased with the cut and preparation. He nodded while he ate.

Lazar liked his Jambalaya well enough to bring the leftovers home.

Tawna ordered the salmon special, and Ahnalira explored the pot roast. Both gave a more moderate approval... liking the sides the best.

All in all, we were happy reviewers. The entrees averaged between $15 and $20... made quite reasonable, Alan felt, with a 20% Disney Dining discount we subtracted from that price. We gave the meal at Boatwrights a solid "good" rating for service, quality, and presentation.

We gave the view as we strolled around the Port Orleans Resort after dinner our first wholehearted "EXCELLENT!"

We just came back from POR in August and enjoyed Boatwrights fro breakfast several times! And let me say, it didn't dissapoint one little bit!! From the awesome servers to the delicious food, it was all around great! In fact, breakfast at Boatwrights was one of the things I looked most forward to when we decided to stay at POR again!! I would HIGHLY reccommend it to anyone! The banana stuffed french toast, sweet potato pancakes, and eggs benedict are absolutely to die for!!

We just had breakfast at Boatwrights and a delightful time was had by all. The server was quite a kick, very funny. The manager and chef were very accomodating of our sugar-free requests and made me banana stuffed french toast with no sugar added. This is my favorite breakfast; basically the same thing you get at Kona Cafe. Overall it was a perfect breakfast!

Weve also enjoyed a few dinners here and they were quite enjoyable also.

We stayed at POR in Sept of 2004 and had several breakfasts at Boatwrights. We had the same server on all but one of those occasions and that made it extra special b/c she came to know us by name and would sit and chat with us when they were not busy! We learned all sorts of fun tips from her! Our food was always VERY good (my oldest son loved the stuffed french toast and I loved the omlettes!) and we discovered that the side order of fruit was the PERFECT breakfast for my 4 yr old! The price was very reasonable, too. It was always a great way to start our day! I would HIGHLY reccommend it! Read reviews by this author

We had the pleasure of staying at Port Orleans Riverside last year and made Boatwrights our breakfast stop. The food was very good, as was the service, and it was great to start the day with a hearty breakfast (as we often choose to make breakfast and dinner our "big" meals and enjoys snacks during those hot days in the park).Read reviews by this author
