Amazing !! <3

I absolutely ADORE Downtown Disney ! Every time I go to Disney we stay within the hotels that are walking distance to Downtown so we spend every single night there and it's just amazing. It's very calm and relaxed yet you still get the Disney feel to it. If you have the time and money make sure to check out Cirque du Soleil's La Nouba...it is to die for. You also have the biggest Disney store there, the Lego area, and many more things. It's kinda hard to see the characters there but you might catch Mickey at a studio waiting to take pictures (although the last time I saw that was in 1997) and the times I've gone after that I've honestly not checked to see if they still do that. Again, it's amazing..a great way to relieve the stress/heat of the day while still being surrounded by the Disney magic. There's Planet Hollywood, Rainforest Cafe, Bongos Cuban Cafe (my favorite), House of Blues and of course Pleasure Island (never actually been inside of the places since the times I've been there before I've been under 21). Overall I love it....oh and there's a McDonald's as well in case the kids are looking for something "familiar" (never eaten there but It's always semi-full so I guess that must be a good sign). Do not miss it....there's no fee to enter.Read reviews by this author
Downtown Disney in Orlando

You don't need a theme park ticket to go to Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World. This area is loaded with fun and excitement. There are all kinds of different shopping options, and eating options, you name it! The World of Disney is located in Downtown Disney. One of my favorite things to do is to get ice cream, and sit and people watch along the water. There are usually different street entertainers, and the feeling is always very festive.Read reviews by this author
