I adjusted my September trip dates so that I could do the Haunted Mansion before they closed to install the Nightmare overlay, and this morning I wake up to find that they've changed the date - they're closing up a week early. So after changing hotel and airline reservations, I'm screwed.

I haven't been there in 31 years, and I'm so pissed off about this that I don't even want to go at this point. IASW is closed, and now Haunted Mansion - with my luck they'll decide to close Space Mountain and the Matterhorn the day I get there.

The dirty sons-of-....

I am so NOT feeling the magic today.

VanBrujah~~~I TOTALLY understand your frustration....Last year we went to "The World" for our 1st time of MVMCP.  THIS year, we booked our airline tickets to go the same week as LAST year.   NOW, the dates start the week AFTER we get back........

Maybe NEXT time~~I should check out airline prices that are REFUNDABLE????     Oh well, just a thought!!

Take Care,
Maryutigger

Awwww..shucks!
DL was really busy last week, and pretty warm for us tundra dwellers..
(Altho' the CM said it was a low August..Nemo was down to 1 hour wait..eeeppp)
Prince Jeffery told us to ask at Nemo for the Observation room experiance..sounds like the same thing without crawling down into the sub and lots slower wait.
We didn't do that, but maybe will next time.

One of the days we were at the Park..Not only was iasw down..but Jungle Cruise,Indy and Thunder!
We were in line for FP (yes..a line for FP!) at Indy and saw the JC boats BACKING out of the ride! I had no idea they could actually back up!

BUt the food was good and Fantasmic had two showings  (always do the second one!)
The new show at Innoventions sounded interesting, but most of the effects weren't working well..
This week the Parks were going to fall hours..open a bit later and close a bit earlier.

They are still doing the Year of a Million Dreams stuff..we didn't get anything, no dream ears!
Sigh!
Have fun!
Be sure to do PoC! Alice and Mr Toad!
And Toy Story Mania at DCA is great fun!
