On this misty morning, as I was sitting at the kitchen table eating my oatmeal, I gazed upon this......

I had randomly placed them there yesterday when I was cleaning up my gardens. I had hosed them off and was letting them dry before packing them away for the winter. This morning when I saw them from my breakfast table, I thought, "They look as if they are waiting for something. I wonder what it could be?"

What do you think it could be?

They are "Waiting for Godot." Sorry, literary reference there, I couldn't help myself, lol! English major in hiding here.

Actually, I think they are waiting for the warm Spring sun again. They know it's coming . . . just not soon enough for them. :)

It looks to me like they are waiting for someone to come up over the incline. Now if they were children, I would say they are waiting for Daddy to come home from work (I wonder if the 5 of us looked like that when we were waiting for our Dad to come home from work?).
